Chief Marketing Officer
Competitive salary & benefits | Growth role with a significant opportunity to re-shape marketing across the Fintel Services Group
Fintel Services is a group of market-leading companies within Fintel PLC, with annual revenues exceeding £50m.
We are seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer to re-imagine our approach to marketing across the group, bringing fresh energy and rigour to everything from brand to demand-gen to digital automation and data-driven personalisation.
The group provides
- Compliance and business support services
- Distribution for investment, protection and mortgage providers
- Prestigious networking and thought leadership events within financial services
- Residential surveying and related services
- Wills and probate services
What you'll do
- Develop and execute a modern marketing strategy that spans all the group’s businesses, and positions us as both trusted partner and innovation leader.
- Establish the optimal marketing team structure to embed a high-performance culture and accountability.
- Leverage AI, marketing automation, personalisation engines and advanced analytics to move from “broadcast” campaigns to 1-to-1 highly relevant and timely communications across client and prospect journeys.
- Build the data-foundation for marketing: define and implement a marketing data model (customer/prospect segmentation, lifecycle stages, prediction scores), ensure clean data and integrate data sources across the group.
- Oversee digital channels (web, social, search, content, events) and ensure they work coherently and optimally, with strong metrics and ROI tracking.
- Align marketing closely with commercial goals.
- Champion the brand internally and externally.
- Measure and report marketing performance clearly, continuously refine the approach, and ensure that marketing becomes a true growth engine for the group.
What you'll need to succeed
- 10 years+ experience as a senior marketing leader ideally in B2B services, financial services, fintech, or adjacent businesses.
- A track record of modernising marketing functions: building teams, embedding data-driven decision-making, leveraging automation/AI.
- Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability: you can set the long-term vision and also roll-up your sleeves to deliver.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills: you can inspire, recruit and develop marketing talent; build high-performing teams.
- Exceptional understanding of digital-first marketing and modern tools/technologies (CRM, marketing automation platforms, analytics, personalisation engines).
- Data-literacy: comfortable with metrics, dashboards, segmentation, lifetime value modelling and marketing ROI.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills: you’ll work across the business (commercial, product, operations, technology) and need to influence and collaborate widely.
Your approach to work
- A growth mindset, curiosity and appetite for change: you’ll join us as a key driver of transformation and will need to embrace innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Integrity, professionalism and a desire to make a positive difference.
